Adam Bland serves as an Executive Director and Global Lead for the Solvents & Surfactants Sector at S&P Global Commodity Insights

Adam has over 25 years experience in the chemical industry and is responsible for providing new insights into multiclient studies pertaining to the solvents and surfactants industry, in addition to supporting single client consultancy services.

Prior to joining S&P Global, he held senior strategic and commercial roles for BASF Schweiz AG including Head of Global Marketing for Business Unit Paper and Head of Global Product Management, Water & Paper Treatment for CIBA.

He started his career at Allied Colloids Ltd, UK as an information scientist in 1992 and holds a chemistry degree from Brasenose College, Oxford and a MBA from Bradford School of Management
