Udo Buchholz, Ph.D.

Expert for resins and coatings, S&P Global Commodity Insights.Udo joined S&P Global Commodity Insights Chemical's Zurich office in 2014, where he is focusing primarily on multi-client studies most specifically for the Chemical Economic Handbook (CEH) and the Specialty Chemicals Update Program (SCUP) and especially in the resins and coatings team. He is furthermore involved in the marketing and sales development for multi-client programs as well as single client projects.
Before joining S&P Global, Udo gathered more than 20 years industrial experience in various marketing and R&D positions in the chemical industry in various companies such as Dow Chemical, Huntsman as well as in consulting with KPMG. His main focus has been in the area of composites, coatings and adhesives.
Udo received his Diploma and Ph.D. (Group Prof. Dr. Mülhaupt) both in polymer chemistry from the University of Freiburg, Germany. He is fluent in English, French and German.
