Doug Ferguson is a Sr. Principal Engineer and Director within Software Solutions, S&P Global Market IntelligenceDoug works with Wall Street Office (WSO), our CLO software suite, and provides architectural and senior technical guidance to our development teams. During his tenure with the company, he has been instrumental in the introduction of programming paradigms, architectural patterns and automation culture, improving the cadence and quality of the teams' CI/CD practices. Prior to joining S&P Global, Doug developed software across various domains including Oil & Gas, Shipping, Insurance and Retail.
He is a member of the Architecture Guild which develops strategies and reference architectures for the company, is a mentor and is a student of languages, both spoken and executable.
Doug holds Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Business Administration (MIS) degrees from Southern Methodist University, U.S. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler, U.S.
