Peter Johnson, Senior Consultant, Upstream Consulting, Energy and Natural Resources group at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Peter has approaching seven years upstream experience previously working in three international operating oil companies, a strategic consultancy and most recently a geophysical seismic contractor before joining S&P Global Commodity Insights in 2019. Working within several different companies working in different parts of the upstream value chain, he has a unique perspective on the drivers, goals and strategies of the very different businesses that make up the sector.

He has an integrated masters in Geology from the University of Southampton, recently completing a second Masters of Science with Royal Holloway London in Petroleum Geoscience.
