Thomas (Tom) Kellock

Tom Kellock heads the Offshore Drilling Rig Market team at S&P Global Commodity Insights.Tom is responsible for consulting projects related to all aspects of this market. Customers for this service are typically oil and gas companies, drilling contractors, and financial institutions, but also have included equipment suppliers and government agencies. Tom has provided assistance to legal firms working with companies involved in contract disputes relating to the offshore industry. He is a well-known speaker, presenting to four or five industry conferences per year. Prior to joining S&P Global, Tom held posts with oil field service companies and a drilling contractor, including roles in operating, managerial, and corporate positions in Europe, the Middle East, Australasia, and South America. During this time, he worked on all types of offshore and onshore rigs. He spent seven years with a major management consultancy, working mainly in Europe and North and South America.
Tom holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics from Magdalen College, Oxford University, United Kingdom, and an MBA from the London Business School, United Kingdom.
