Jian Ren Lim is a research analyst for the Global Power and Renewables team at S&P Global Commodity Insights.Jian is responsible for corporate power purchase agreements (CPPA) in the Asia Pacific region, mainly covering Japan, South Korea, and Australia. His research and analysis is focused on delivering data-rich insights in the CPPA market that guide clients in their power purchase decision making. Jian also engages in supporting roles within the Global Power and Renewable team.
Prior to joining IHS Markit (now S&P Global), Jian earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from The Ohio State University and University of Notre Dame, respectively, in the United States.
