Hongyan Lin is Principal Research Analyst with the Climate and Sustainability team at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Hongyan has over 20 years of experience in energy modeling, consulting, and research. Hongyan is currently a member of the energy global analytics team, which maintains the Global Energy Scenarios models. Her primary work includes integrating market analyses across S&P Global Commodity Insights to create world energy balance under three distinct scenarios, as well as maintaining the databases associated with the model results.

Hongyan holds a Master of Science in international economics from Radford University in Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in industrial foreign trade from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in China.
