Alexander is responsible for monitoring the regions for legal developments of significance to upstream investors, analysing their effect and producing reports to enable investors to screen jurisdictions for investment potential. He has over 15 years' legal experience and over eight years' experience in the upstream petroleum industry.

Alexander holds postgraduate degrees from the University of Aberdeen and an undergraduate degree from the University of Glasgow, both in the United Kingdom.
