Philippe Mauron
Technical Researcher, African Regional Team, S&P Global Commodity Insights
Philippe Mauron is Technical Researcher for the African Regional Team and is responsible for the upstream editorial content for Gabon.In addition to his editorial role Philippe oversees the field database for a few Sub-Saharan countries including Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania.
Philippe has worked for the S&P Global Commodity Insights Africa Regional Team since 2002. During his tenure at S&P Global Philippe has taken on various roles overseeing among others the well and geophysical surveys database and editing articles for Nigeria. Philippe regularly attends international conferences where he worked on and presented several posters related to E&P activities of the West African region and of the East African Rift System. Philippe contributes also regularly to the PESGB magazine.
Philippe holds a Master Degree in Geology and Geophysics from the Earth Sciences Institute of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He speaks French and English and is based in our Geneva office where he can be contacted via email.
