A key North American upstream expert, Mr. McGuire brings a detailed knowledge of the competitive landscape and key trends in all the major plays in the US and Canada. With a deep knowledge of S&P Global and external datasets, he played a critical role in enhancement/creation North America Onshore Asset Analytics tool, allowing clients to quickly evaluate and benchmark asset and company performance. He has developed a specialty in evaluating the unconventional Oil and Gas business through hundreds of real-time, interactive sessions working with asset managers, upstream executives, and investment banks. The primary focus of his work with clients has been to screen opportunities, benchmark performance, and identify critical trends. His focus is on integrating datasets to create innovative new products. Examples of initiatives include:

• Acreage Grading - Led design, pilot, and production of AI-led algorithm development to design US grid system and apply Oil and Gas prospectivity score.
• Remaining Inventory Analysis - Drove development of spatial algorithms allowing customers to easily estimate remaining well inventory across all North American unconventional plays per square mile.
• Well Spacing Analytics - Worked with team to build and deliver interpretation ready information regarding well spacing.
• GHG Estimation - Designed and implemented innovative scheme to estimate detailed greenhouse gas emissions per well per month.
