Matthias Raab
Managing Director and Analytical Manager S&P Global Ratings
Matthias Raab is a Managing Director and Analytical Manager in the Corporate Ratings Group of S&P Global, based in FrankfurtIn this role, he manages the EMEA Automotive, A&D, Capital Goods and Investment Holding Companies team, which currently comprises 20 analysts. In addition, he is a senior representative for the Corporate Ratings Group in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Matthias joined Standard & Poor's in 2005 and thereafter took on analytical responsibilities for a large portfolio of European Telecommunications and Technology credits. He headed up the EMEA Telecom & Technology team as Analytical Manager from 2015 to 2018.
Previously, Matthias worked in the financial monitoring team of the life insurance company Allianz Lebensversicherungs-AG. Prior to his studies, he worked for Siemens AG in Erlangen, where he did a two-year traineeship in business administration, and thereafter joined the accounting and controlling department.
Matthias holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt. He is also a CFA charterholder.
