Andres Rojas is an associate director with the Global LNG team at S&P Global Commodity Insights and is based in Houston, TexasAndres focuses on LNG trade flows and commercial developments in the short-term LNG market. Andres and his team bring together the physical movements of LNG volumes with the commercial data associated with each cargo, the data and short-term analysis is made available to clients on a live basis via Waterborne LNG Platform. Andres also has in-depth knowledge on LNG shipping economics and the overall fundamentals of both the spot and long-term charter markets. Additionally, he brings an expertise in LNG short-term/spot trade fundamentals, and the drivers behind arbitraging in the LNG market. Andres began his career in the LNG space working as a project finance analyst for TORP LNG, working on developing offshore LNG import solutions.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in economics and finance from the University of Houston, United States.
