Charles Ross
Principal Research Analyst, S&P Global Commodity Insights
Charles Ross is the Research and Analysis Lead for CIS Upstream Asset Valuation within the S&P Global Vantage product.Charles is the lead analyst for the CIS within the S&P Global Vantage product. He has worked on CIS for a number of years covering asset analysis and research in conventional oil and gas, unconventionals and LNG. His main responsibilities include cost and production modelling, commodity pricing, fiscal analysis and capturing economic, technical and geopolitical risks.
Charles joined S&P Global in 2020, after having worked for a small private equity backed exploration and production company in the North Sea and Colombia. He was focused on asset and portfolio evaluation alongside sedimentology and reservoir geoscience.
Charles holds a MSc in Petroleum Geoscience and a BSc in Petroleum Geology from Royal Holloway, University of London.
