Rahul Sharma is a product analysis and design director at IHS Markit.Rahul Sharma joined IHS Markit in 2019 to lead the index research and design team in Asia. His focus is on smart beta, tradable indices, quantitative solutions and thematic products. He has more than 15 years of experience in financial markets across the sell and buy side in London, Singapore and Hong Kong. Prior to joining IHS Markit he spent 5 years at ANZ Bank working in index and rates structuring. From 2007 to 2013 Rahul worked at Barclays Bank in an award winning index research and development group from where he launched a number of flagship strategy index products. Rahul holds a Masters in Finance from the University of London and the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA UK Society.
