Darren Stobbart is a Principal Research Analyst within the Crop Science team at S&P Global Commodity Insights.Darren joined Crop Science team in 2014 and has experience
working on projects across the sector from agrochemicals and
biopesticides, to digital agriculture and seeds.
As Principal Research Analyst within the Crop Science team, Darren
lead teams who are active in producing analysis and insights
relating to the global conventional crop protection and
biopesticide markets. This includes the publication of Agrochemical
Market Data (a market research driven database highlighting leading
products, AI and formulated brand level, in the crop protection
market at granularity of country and crop), Agrochemical Market
Analysis (a report updated annually discussing performance and
outlook of the industry from the perspective of the leading
players, crops segments, country markets and chemical classes) and
Biological Market Data (the most comprehensive database covering
companies, products and brands within the biological sector)
Before joining S&P Global, Darren graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology.
