Sebi Thapa oversees operations and global execution teams for Network and Regulatory Solutions' managed service products within S&P Global Market Intelligence, including tax, know your customer (KYC), counterparty manager, and know your third party (KY3P)-based offerings.Sebi has over 20 years of experience with back-office operations in the financial services sector and has been with S&P Global for 11+ years. Currently, she supports many of the world's largest firms develop and execute their regulatory compliance processes. Sebi has a keen interest in aligning regulatory and reporting services to industry trends and the strategic priorities of her clients.
During her time with S&P Global, she built the Tax Solutions managed service business from the ground up, including documentation and reporting offerings tailored to Chapters 3, 4, and 61 of the Internal Revenue Code and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS).
Before joining S&P Global, she was part of the tax operations team at UBS, managing due diligence and withholding processes. Sebi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Bridgeport and her Bachelor's degree from the BMS Institute of Technology and Management in Bangalore, India.
