David is an economist specializing in Emerging Europe at S&P Global Market Intelligence.

David is responsible for the economic analysis and forecasting for several countries in Emerging Europe, including Czechia and Slovakia. David joined the company in June 2023. He previously worked as an analyst in Raiffeisenbank´s Economic Research Department in Prague focusing on Czechia and the CEE region. Prior to that, David worked with the Economic Research Unit at UniCredit Bank in Munich, supporting the team´s coverage of the German and global economy.

David holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Bayreuth and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy & Economics from the same university. He is fluent in English, German, and Czech.
