Shane Whipple is a low-carbon markets analyst on the Energy Transition team at S&P Global Commodity Insights.Shane is a Low Carbon Markets Analyst on S&P Global Commodity Insights Energy Transition team, currently focused on upstream crude oil production and downstream refining GHG emissions.
During his tenure at S&P Global, Shane has worked as a data analyst to automate our internal natural gas and LNG models. He has also worked as a data visualization analyst to create user interfacing BI dashboards for North American natural gas, Global Integrated Energy Model and Freight Rate Shipping Routes. Prior to working at S&P Global, Shane worked for the Department of Environmental Quality as an Emissions Inventory and Modeling Engineer.
Shane earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Energy Management from the University of Wyoming.
