Yang Yang is a senior research analyst on Dividend Forecasting at IHS Markit and leads the dividend forecasting quant model team.Mr. Yang is currently responsible for dividend research and forecasts for the Greater China Market. His main industry focus includes financial and industrial, and he is covering top payers in APAC regions including ICBC, Bank of China, and Ping An insurance. He also leads the quant model team in the dividend forecasting team and is responsible for the daily maintenance of the quant model which produces algorithmically generated dividend forecasts to complement the analyst-driven dataset. Mr. Yang has more than 6 years' experience in equity research. Prior to joining IHS Markit, he was an associate in a local private equity firm in Singapore and was responsible for the fundamental research and deal valuation for the potential acquisition targets.
Mr. Yang is a CFA® charterholder. He holds a Master of Science in applied finance from Singapore Management University, Singapore and a Bachelor of Finance from Xiamen University, China.
