Sr Technical Research Analyst II, S&P Global Commodity Insights
Francois Blin is the UK Upstream Valuation Analyst working within the Europe team at S&P Global Commodity InsightsFrancois joined S&P Global in 2021, where he works within the Commodity Insights Europe team as the UK's Vantage analyst. His role covers the modeling and valuation of the UK's upstream assets as well as building out production forecasts at a company and country level. Francois completed his MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London in 2018, developing a keen interest for the upstream industry. He later went on to work as a geophysicist, carrying out offshore surveys for both renewable and oil & gas developments. Francois has gained first-hand experience in many aspects of the energy industry, utilising this knowledge to provide analysis and insight for colleagues and clients alike.
